Hardware
and embedded software Designer
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of hardware and embedded software for microcontroller based systems. There will also be considerable customer interfacing so good communications skills will be essential. The role will varied and sometimes involve working on customer premises.
As well as the necessary qualifications and experience the successful candidate must have good communication skills, be flexible, and able to work on their own initiative.
We require a Degree level qualification in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of some of the following:-
· Microcontroller based systems.
· Analogue and Digital electronic hardware.
· Programmable Logic Devices.
· CAD software.
· Motion control systems.
· A good manor with customers.
· The ability to troubleshoot existing designs.
· Software tools such as Lab View or Visual Basic.
· Web Design.
· Salary up to £30,000 dependent on experience.
· A Performance related bonus.
· 25 Days annual leave.
